You are invited to Texas to celebrate Margaret Wimmer’s 70th birthday. Yee-haw!
THE EVENT

A Mexican Buffet dinner will be served, featuring beef and chicken fajitas, enchiladas, tamales and all the fixin's. Alcohol can be ordered at the hotel bar, and wine will be served with dinner. For those that desire an alternative, ordering off the menu from The Branding Iron (the hotel's restaurant) will also be available. Please let us know if you'd like to go that route at the start of the evening.
You are invited to stay both Friday night and Saturday night in Kerrville. Should you join us for the whole weekend, Mom invites you to a barbecue dinner at her home Friday evening. Please let Mom or me know as soon as possible if you are able to join us and what your weekend travel adventure plans will be.
A block of rooms is reserved at YO Ranch Hotel in Kerrville under Margaret Wimmer’s name (or "The Big Birthday Party Bash") for both Friday and Saturday nights. The block discount reservation has been extended to February 14, so please make your reservations today to secure your room.

FLIGHTS AND DRIVING - Head 'em up, move 'em out!
Kerrville is 66 miles northwest of San Antonio and 100 miles west of Austin. Fly into either city, rent a car, and enjoy a beautiful drive through the Texas Hill Country to arrive in Mom’s town. Perhaps spend time in either Austin or San Antonio, or both: the drive between Austin and San Antonio takes about 90 minutes.
Of note: South By Southwest (the behemoth film, music and media festival/conference known as "SXSW") begins March 9th, and lodging in Austin will be increasingly difficult to come by if you choose to stay in town after Mom's party. If that's your plan, book now.
